Payroll Specialist
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist in our Portland, OR office. Responsibilities include: • Processing weekly payroll for 200+ union/non-union employees. • Processing prevailing wage/certified payroll reports including review and submission of payrolls for Subcontractors. • Monthly union reporting. • Reviewing and processing new hire paperwork, employee status changes, terminations and garnishments. Requirements include: • Experience with a history of escalating responsibility in payroll • Previous experience handling prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting • Excellent communication skills, including ability to read and speak English • Ability to work with a wide variety of people • Willingness to be a team player The ideal candidate will have at least one year of payroll experience; a background in construction payroll is preferred.
QA/QC Manager
We are seeking a high-energy, technically-oriented architect to serve as QA/QC Manager in our Portland office.

The successful candidate will have 10+ yrs. extensive experience with design and construction of large commercial and multi-family residential wood frame, structural concrete and steel frame buildings with an emphasis on envelope detailing. Primary responsibilities include: Reviewing building plans, specifications, and details for constructability and quality assurance during the design phase of projects; facilitating coordination of plans, specifications, and details for quality assurance and quality control during construction phase; reviewing installation/ workmanship in progress on jobsites; planning, promoting and organizing training activities related to building quality. The QA Manager is also responsible for playing an active role in the evaluation and promotion of green building systems and strategies during the design phase.

Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and an ability to participate as part of a team are essential. MS Office, MS Project and AutoCad skills required. Architecture degree required (Oregon State Professional registration preferred). Experience in the design and construction of high performance buildings and integration of sustainable technologies is highly desirable.

Senior Estimator
We are looking for a motivated professional who is a self-starter with good time management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel required. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have 10+ years of commercial building estimating experience, with an emphasis on heavy frame concrete and wood framing. Additional qualities/skills include: • Ability estimating projects which typically range from 5 million-50 million. • Working knowledge of construction assemblies and all project phases. • Ability to produce accurate estimates from conceptual and schematic drawings. • Ability to produce detailed final contract estimates. • Ability to assess site exposures/construction risks and be able to appropriately analyze, cost, and reflect these in an estimate. • Ability to identify constructability issues through the estimating process. • Ability to identify value-engineering alternatives. • Excellent communication skills.
Safety Coordinator
Our Salishan project in Tacoma, WA has an opening for a site safety coordinator. Qualified candidates will be self-starters who have construction experience, knowledge of construction safety and WISHA rules and regulations. Duties will include, but are not limited to conducting daily site inspections, risk and hazard identification, corrective action and communication, and documentation. MS Word and Excel experience required.
Project Manager
We are interested in a dynamic team player for primarily negotiated commercial and residential work. We require an energetic professional with the utmost integrity and positive, upbeat attitude. Excel/MS Project skills required: C.M. degree preferred. The perfect candidate has 8+ years project manager experience with a general contractor, some superintendent experience, a background in construction trades, and a solid technical knowledge of wood frame, steel and concrete structures. Experience with rehab and remodel work is a plus. This individual also has strong and dynamic leadership skills that will contribute to the overall vitality of the company.

Successful candidates will have 4+ years experience in medium to large commercial and multi-family projects. Must have proven track record in all phases of project supervision and extensive structural concrete experience. Microsoft Project/Excel/Word required. CM degree preferred.
