Designed for LEED Silver, awaiting return Wood frame patient housing with six stories and 80 residential units, built above 3 levels of below grade parking; with an exterior courtyard, administrative offices, and 2,800 SF of commercial space at street level. The building incorporates mixed-use elements that blend with the surrounding commercial and residential buildings. Working in the middle of a heavily constricted site, with residential buildings on almost every side and a massive construction project underway on the next block, the WCC team kept the neighborhood in the loop from the start. Patient Housing for Seattle Cancer Care Alliance adds expanded services to SCCA's cancer care treatment center. This special needs housing is essentially a healthcare residence, created as a haven for patients who need to relocate for extended treatments. With families traveling hundreds of miles from home to receive care for their loved ones, it is slated to become a center of dedicated services and support.
