Demand for student housing brought Walsh Construction Co. to the Seattle area in the early 1980's to complete three design-build projects for the University of Washington. As a Portland-based construction firm, the decision to expand north allowed us to serve clients with interests in both markets, while maintaining geographic flexibility in the field.
