WCC Presents at BEST3

April 3, 2012

Mike Steffen of Walsh Construction Co. was recently invited to submit papers on two key topics related to high performance buildings to the 3rd Building Enclosure Science and Technology Conference (BEST3) – a conference organized by the National Institute of Building Sciences.  One paper – co-authored with Martin Houston (WCC Quality Director) – discusses the implementation of quality management during the design and construction of building enclosure systems.  The other paper addresses the contractor’s role in the design and construction of air barrier systems.  Both papers draw broadly from experience obtained on WCC projects over the past decade.  The papers were presented today at the conference in Atlanta.
